In 1805, December two, the Napoleonic French army won the famous battle of Austerlitz, against Austrian and Russian armies.
Napoleon was a great general, but his hand was not legible at all, so he employed a few secretaries to wrote the official mailing.The present font was created inspired from a mail wrote by one of these professional secretaries and scribes a few month before the battle. We propose it as a typical exemple of the usual French Hand from this period.
The font is containing numerous ligatures and alternative characters to looking as closely as possible to a real handwriting.
The standard full set is completed with accented or specific characters for West(Including Celtic)and Central European, Baltic, Romanian, Hungarian and Turkish languages.
